Tottenham transfer news: Milos Veljkovic joins Werder Bremen on three-and-a-half year deal

Tottenham defender Milos Vejlkovic has joined Bundesliga side Werder Bremene on a three-and-a-half year deal.
The 20-year-old central defender moved to Spurs from Basel in 2013 and made two Premier League appearance for the north Londoners.
The Serbia Under-21 international also spent spells on loan at Middlesbrough and Charlton but failed to break into Mauricio Pochettino's first-team plans at White Hart Lane.
Vejlkovic's Tottenham contract was set to expire in the summer and a deal has now been agreed to take him to the Weserstadion on a permanent basis.
Veljkovic will join up with Werder Bremen's Under-23 side rather than Viktor Skrypnyk's first-team squad.
Chief executive Thomas Eichin added: "We have been monitoring Milos for a long time now, and are pleased that he has now joined. This transfer is an investment in the future."
